Do you like your coffee stale or full of flavour?

Do you like your coffee stale or full of flavour?

Frankie here. As I sit on a near empty plane, on route to Ireland.

Man in front of me snoring his dreams away.

My feet kicked up and eyes dazing after popping a sleeping pill for my 15 hour flight.

In my element really, (exclude the snoring part).

I am excited for the unknown.

The anticipation of months of planning for our first tour in Ireland.

The stories that are yet to be made.

The land where my mother and ancestors frolicked.

A place close to my heart.

As Matt said, when you’ve broken free of your normality,

of your routine, the colours of life start to appear again.

Filling in the blanks of that black and white lens.

Transit becomes a place to reflect.

Big visions appear and so do the wacky ones. You feel so Inspired that you become a 17th century philosopher. (Well you think you have)

And here we are, you folks are the lucky readers.

And here I am.

Listening to a podcast on the story of Starbucks.

“Pour your heart into it”

Not just into a cup of coffee

Into a place of passion

However that looks for you.

I know what you’re thinking, Starbucks is now a huge chain.

But the backstory is kind of inspiring.

Hear me out.

In the 1960s, the coffee market trend was growing in the states.

In the shadows the 3 creators of Starbucks would spend all of their time working,

researching new formulas

scoping out exotic beans

making mistakes

learning from those mistakes

Why you ask?

Because they poured their heart into it.

Not knowing the outcome.

But taking a risk.

Meanwhile large coffee brands were competing on prices with each other. The big dogs focused more on how to cut cost.

So, they added cheaper beans to their blends.

Sacrificing flavour.

Sacrificing quality.

Sacrificing their story.

Year after year, the quality of shelf coffee got stale. Even though their advertised campaign fooled everyone for their great taste.

They didn’t fool the masterminds of starbucks, who were determined to open their first coffee store in Seattle. To supply quality coffee. Even if it appeared only to a tiny notch of gourmet coffee lovers.

We all know how the story of Starbucks went after that…

Yet the point is, in the beginning it was driven by passion.

Not because they were hungry for high quantity + low quality  = more $$$

But they were passionate creatives who followed their calling.

Entrepreneurs who caught onto the fact that humans deserve to treat themselves to the acquired tastes of life. And fucking enjoy it! Don’t just use coffee to drag your body through life, to that job you hate, to get through the daily grinds… stop, taste the aromas and just, enjoy.

It reminds me a little of a tour company I know….

At this point you’re probably thinking, WTF?! Has Nevermind launched a coffee company? Nah, but who’s to tell us no? Matt’s already brewing beer … 🤔

Nevermind Adventure, we are a team of real people… creatives, explorers, story tellers, a trail builder, an enviro scientist, musicians, micro brewer, motorbike enthusiasts and self proclaimed professional dancers.

We’re a bit rough around the edges.

But we are a collective mix of souls who have lived a thousand lives. Maybe even past lives together? And I believe that you, are meant to be reading this. Because you are apart of the Nevermind story as much as we are.

Those thousand lives brought us together with the knowledge, passion and vision to share with YOU a life changing motorcycle adventure. Because you deserve it.

Who know’s what the future holds for Nevermind Adventure?

One thing we do know, is that our adventures will never be stale. They will always be full of flavour.

Over to you, are you ready to taste the full flavours of life?

See you on the road

Frankie ✌️
